Thailand is not only known for her amazing tourist attractions, but also her unique strong flavours of many dishes in her land. Many of these flavours combines the taste of sweet, sour, spiciness etc in a fragrant dish almost always using fruits, herbs and vegetables etc, tantalising your taste buds all at once.

As such, there are many popular Thai street foods which are famed throughout the world, for example Pad Thai or the Fried Rice Noodles, the Papaya or Mango Salads, and the Tom Yam soups, that are served in all Thai restaurants globally. However, one may not know that even such famous dishes have many flavours to their names, depending on where you maybe eating them at ie. Central, Northern or Eastern regions of the country.

However, if you are in Thailand and take a walk in one of their many night bazaars or walking streets, you will be astonished at the variety of popular street food lined up to set for taste buds for greater experiences.

Hoi Tod - Thai popular street food

One of our favourite popular Thai street food is the dish of Hoi Tod, or Fried Oyster Pancake/ Omelette. However, finding a stall vendor who is able to serve up a crispy, creamy and fragrant dish of this would really be a great blessing. And indeed, we are blessed to have found one, by far serving the best Hoi Tod that we have eaten in Thailand!
