Have you freed your LIFE?

Many would have experienced asking the same to themselves as I did.

Holding a Master Degree in Engineering, I worked myself up in the corporate world for about 20 years, rising through the ranks to a senior management position. At my peak, I was running 5 process operations. Though on a 5 days work week, I was on a 24x7 on call basis. Thus many weekends and nights supposed to be spent with my loved ones were spent in the office instead.

Each year I was granted about 20 days annual leaves which I would spent going on vacations with my loved ones. Yet these precious time have to be approved by someone else instead of me deciding how and when I would like to spend it with my family.

I started questioning the path I had taken for the last 20 years.

Was there any significant change in achieving my dreams after all these years?

Am I going to rely on a job and be Just Over Broke for the rest of my life?

Is a job the only option I have to depend on for the survival of my family?

Is a job going to guarantee the survival of my family in the future?

In the current econimic situation, how long will my job be secure?

With the advancement in technology and artificial intellegence, will my job be secure?

Do I want to spend as much time as i want with my loved ones as and when I want?

What kind of lifestyle will I pass to my chidlren?

To each of the question I asked myself, I had to find a way so that I can change all the answers positively.

But most importantly, indeed, I was making a living but I was not really making a living, LIVING!

The diagram I drew out below was literally what I was doing all along, that of running round in the same cycle for the last 2 decade!

I was the little white mice running in the wheel within my environment without knowing it.

What was the purpose of going on vacations with my loved ones whenever I could, I asked. Wasn't I intending to create peak life experiences with them as often as I could? After all, when the time is up, isn't it the best gift that I could give to them are those unforgettable memories that we spent together doing the things we loved most? Travelling!

If time and money is not a concern to you, would traveling be what you have always wanted to do?

If so, while we are still healthy and able to travel anywhere that we want, have we started building an alternative toward such a lifestyle?

Why are we still beating around the bushes instead of pursuing our aspirations directly and swiftly?

Seeing the vicious cycle I was in, I took the step to change it and the result of this blog, more of like my travel log, testifies the results achieved.

Time waits for no man, so what are we waiting for?

Nothing changes if nothing changes. Are you ready for a change in you life too?

If so, let's get in touch and start our journey together, towards creating a positive and lasting impact in your life and the lives of everyone that we touch.
