Of course when in Austria, one can never miss visiting Hallstatt, a famous UNESCO town known for its beautiful setting in front of a lake by the mountain. Our drive from Salzburg to Hallstatt were interrupted with many pit stops due to the many scenaries that captivated us, forcing us to stop for some photo sessions. We thus reached Hallstatt later then we had plan.
Though the drive was supposed to be about an hour, we took double the time reaching Hallstatt in the afternoon.
However, once we arrived, we were both elated and very excited to start exploring this UNESCO town in Austria.
The town is simply beautiful and charming with an embedded sense of serenity from its surrounding natural landscapes.
Next stop, surely is the peak view of Hallstatt. It is about a 5 mins steep ride up the mountain from the tram station where the tickets can be purchased.
The view from the ride is by itself already a great view, not to mention the view from the peak!
Welterbeblic World Heritage View and Skywalk is what awaits us at the top. And needless to say, simply awesome!
And a final parting shoot in Hallstatt before we move on to our next destination in Austria.
