After our 4 days 3 nights packaged tour in Stockholm Sweden, we drove about 200km out of Stockholm to the 2nd city of Sweden, Orebro city. We were hosted warmly there for the next 2 nights by our friends who were so welcoming. Immediately upon settling ourselves in her home, our sight seeing began.
We visit afew places of interest with her kind guiding as follows.
1. Orebro Castle.
Located in the city square of Orebro, this castle has a very rich history dating back its first recorded existence in 1364. With a small lake surrounding it, a park is built around it making it a beautiful place to spend the day with friends and family. There are also many displays of artworks within the park provided another avenue for passing time.

2. Orebro City Square
After awing at the sight of the castle, we took a stroll around the city square to soak in the lifestyle and culture of the Swedish people there. Along the way admiring the beautiful architectures and any artworks that is being displayed. In this city, there is almost no high rise building as can be seen in Stockholm.
3. Annaboda, Orebro
This area is a place not only popular to locals but also to foreigners especially during the winter seasons.
During winter, the slopes of the surrounding hills makes a good skiing location.
In summer now, with the beautiful lake in the woods, it is just awesome to be with friends and family for a day of relaxing with a picnic or BBQ. And also taking a dip in the cold water to enjoy the coolness of the weather.
4. Orebro Water Tower
Standing at 52meters height, built within a park, it is the main distribution water tower for the city. A resturant is located at the top level of the tower where one can dine while admiring the birdeye view of the surrounding city area.
Indeed to 2 days past so fast when we had so much fun exploring Orebro and staying in the comfortable house of our host who had taken care of us so well with their great hospitality.. We were indeed reluctant to leave so soon but that is what makes parting so memorable, that we will miss each other with every parting.
Before parting, it is definitely a must to do a overall view of the town for memory sake.
