Gunung Kawi Temple, Bali, Indonesia

Up early next morning we have a hearty breakfast in the open space breakfast area of the resort.

An interesting short walk to the breakfast area, there are afew merchants by the alleyway selling local handicrafts.

After breakfast, the tour group gather and boarded the bus to start off a day of our sight seeing.

We 1st visited a traditional Bali house to have an experience of lives was.

We are told by our host that its a culture that all house have such "shrine" as part of their religious practise.

We next visited a local coffee plantation that cultivates "Luwak" for Civet Cat coffee.

We bought a cup to try its special flavour. The coffee were brewed using dedicated special apparatus.

We were then transport of a well known restaurant up atop a hill.

Again the spread of buffet lunch was appetizing. Dining area were also nicely located with an top of the hill view of the surrounding area.

Just beside the eating area is a large open spaced gallery to give a good view of the town. But more interesting, that of a active volcano.

Mount Batur is an active volcano in Bali. The eruptions of Mount Batur have been registered to be more than 20 times since 1804, the last in 1994.

After a short break we were on our way to another heritage site. The famous Gunung Kawi Temple.

As with Balinese culture, there are many interesting sculptures in the temple.

After the visit to the temple, we then proceeded for our dinner at The Sakura Resort.

Arriving there, we were amaze at the setup for the dinner. Sumptuous spread of food with performances.

After an impressive hospitality by our tour host, we retired for the night with eagerness for another half day of our tour tomorrow.
