We started our 2nd day tour of Phuket with a visit to the Dolphin Bay, for a seal and dolphin show. Prior to this tour, I did not even know that Phuket has such a facility. Indeed another good knowledge achieved.
Our tour host told us that the show here is possible the best in Asia. Initially I was alittle sceptical. However, after watching the whole show, indeed it was the best Dolphin performance that I have seen to date. Awesome indeed!!!
After the show ended, we then went on our own exploration of Phuket. 1st off to the Chinatown. We caught many beautiful architectures there and even a very delightful graffiti!
We next went to on of the famous temple in Phuket, Wat Chalong, a temple with a rich history and a must visit for all tourists visiting Phuket.
And thereafter to Karon View Point, a place where your can clearly see the 3 bays that Phuket is made up of, namely Kata Noi Bay, Kata Bay and Karon Bay, the 3 together resembles the crest of a moon as I was told.
After a hot afternoon out in the sun, we then decided to retreat back to the hotel and have some water fun in the pool and bar.
A good way to chill off in preparation for our Farewell Dinner. With cold beer and pool water, what can a man ask for more?
Time for our farewell dinner in the hotel, where we are staying for the last night! A sumptuous spread of food and great entertainment all round on the roof top of The Senses Resort, with a great overview of Phuket city at night. Very well arranged by our hosts!
