Experiencing Tokyo, Japan

Up bright and early and after breakfast, we hopped onto the tour bus which brings us to our 1st destination. A visit to Tokyo Imperial Palace.

The bus have to be parked at Garden Park across the main entrance of the palace and we have to walk some 5mins to reach the main entrance of the palace. This short journey was an interesting 1st feel of Tokyo for us.

Unfortunately during this period the palace ground is not opened to public and we can only see its beauty from a distance.

After a short stay, we proceeded to our next destination. The famous Asakusa Sensoji Temple. But 1st let's have our lunch that has been prepared for us in a restaurant in one of the alley surrounding the temple. Making our way to the restaurant itself is an interesting walk as there are many alleys criss-crossing all lined with merchants of different goods.

And sad to say but true, this is the 1st time I ever see a real Japanese in Kimono walking in Japan! They are just gorgeous in this traditional wear.

After lunch, its time to explore the temple and its surrounding ground fully!

And of course we just cannot don't take some photos with them! :)

As our guided tour ended with this destination in the late afternoon, we decided on go to Odaiba for our own sightseeing.

And ending the night off with a mouth watering meal of the different types of Ramen at the Great Ramen Stadium on the 7th floor of Aqua City Odaiba. A must visit place if you are nearby, for a taste of all ramen flavors by the different masters!

And on our way back to the hotel, a bonus of catching the giant Gundam in front of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.
