It has always been exhilarating to be able to visit places that one has always heard about. One such place is Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, a resort famed for its luxury decors and constructions and its large theme park packed with many water sport activities.
Indeed on the 28th Apr, I was able to live such an memorable experience. To be able to visit Dubai for the 1st time in my life and yet to be staying at the Atlantis for 4 nights!
Picked up by our host from the airport upon clearing immigration, we were whisked to a shiny white Lexus for our private airport transfer to the resort.
After about an hour's journey, we stepped out of our transport with great excitement and awe into this amazing resort. The décors in the main lobby was simple awesome! For those that have visited The Venetian in Macau which we visited last April, the lobby of Atlantis The Palm is surely does not pale in comparison. In fact, it can be deemed to be even a touch more luxury than the Venetian.
Services by the staff at the resort were immaculate. With ample service counters, we were blessed to be given a room at the highest level of the resort overseeing the ocean on the 22nd storey. After checking into the spacious room, we rested awhile to settle in and my wife started trying out her "Abaya", the official women wear in Dubai, that was part of our welcome gift (not from the resort, but our tour company), posing for a few photo shots.
As evening came with the sun starting to set, we managed to catch of shot of the beautiful ocean view from our room, before heading out for our dinners,
Our very 1st night here at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, and we are already falling in love with this country!
Indeed another wonderful experience and an unforgettable memory.
Next morning holds more surprises when just outside the restaurant where we had our breakfast was this huge beautiful aquarium with one of the largest variety of fished we have ever seen.
Simply a must stay resort in Dubai!
