Katori District, Japan

With our last day in Tokyo before flying back to Singapore, we decided to venture out further to visit Katori district in Chiba Prefecture. The place is said to be very beautiful too with its on unique ambience of calmness as it is more of a village styled residential area with a river flowing across town. We took a train from Narita station to Sawara Station and walk to a nearby Tourist Centre there to get a map of the town. Interesting, they also provide we WIFI hotspot access in the area. The service staff at the counter will provide you a card which provides the access to the hotspots in the town.

The short walk around proved to be very scenic too.

We then rented a bike from many of the public rental kiosks around town and cycled around town.

We drop by at Katori Shrine for a visit too.

Ending off the day with our very train ride for this trip in Japan.
