How can one not visit Tanah Lot temple when in Bali as a tourist for the 1st time.
Off the Indonesian island of Bali, it is a rock formation which serves are a popular tourist attraction and a much beloved icon for taking photos.
The entrance to the temple ground is through this beautiful gate adorned with such intricate sculptures.
We were in luck for its low tide now and we are able to walk right up to it. Do check on the timing of the tides if you intend to have a close up view of the temple. A very beautiful rock formation indeed.
We spend our last afternoon there admiring the views, wandering around the shops for a little local souvenirs.
With this wonderful vacation coming to an end, indeed the beginning of a larger chapter of both our lives begins to unfold.
