We went for a half day tour of Ubud town.

1st stop is the Sacred Monkey Sanctuary. Essentially a large park with temples and cultural values, and free running monkeys, its was a fun and interesting walk through the sanctuary.

A monkey little monkey trying to get the snack from the bag of a tourist.

The sanctuary is adorned with many sculptures.

A small temple ground within the sanctuary.

After the sanctuary, we were transported to the town centre to have see their local market and a heritage palace nearby.

Ubud central street market were lined with many stalls selling almost anything for tourists, from key chain to fashion wears, all rich in Balinese cultures.

About 10mins walk away from the market is also the Ubud Palace - Puri Saren Agung, another heritage site giving a glimpse of the lives of loyalties in the past there.

We ended the half day tour with our lunch that is prepared by the host at Dewa Malen Restaurant. Again the buffet spread is great.

After an intensive one and a half day tour of Bali, we decided to rest for the day before embarking on our own leg the next day.
